Victor Manuel Romero Cazorla

Victor graduated from Extremadura University, Spain, in 2017. During his last year as a vet student he spent a few months doing voluntary work at Wild Animal Rescue Centres in Spain and the Netherlands, working with a wide range of species such as birds of prey and seals, that needed some help to be released back in to the wild.

Looking forward to improving his English and experience in a different field, Victor moved to Hillsborough, Northern Ireland, in May 2017 after qualifying, to do an internship with dairy cows in an agriculture research institute.

After this internship Victor realised he was more interested in small animals than large ones, so he joined a vet clinic in County Derry where he spent 2 years improving his surgical and clinical skills. Last year, he moved to the Netherlands to work as a wildlife vet in the largest seal rescue centre in Europe. Now Victor is back in Ireland and joined our vet team in June 2021, looking forward to work again with small animals.
