Amy has been a qualified RVN for over 10 years now, qualifying from Dundalk IT in 2012. Amy went straight into SA practice and spent 5 years working in a GP in Dublin before traveling to Asia and then onto Australia where she lived for 2 years. In Australia she gained invaluable experience working in Emergency and Critical Care and enjoyed looking after some native Australian wildlife.
Amy has always been passionate about anaesthesia and providing gold standard care to her patients. She broadened her study by obtaining a postgraduate certificate in Anaesthesia and Analgesia through the university of Edinburgh, graduating in January 2022.
Amy is head Nurse of our Shenick Vets Skerries branch.
Outside of work Amy enjoys caring for her new baby girl Freya, she has also adopted a feral cat who turned up at the door called Oliver.
