Deirdre graduated from Athlone IT in 2020 after returning to college to study veterinary nursing as a mature student.
She also completed QQI level 5 and 6 in animal care and animal science in Drogheda Institute of Further Education in which she won the student of the year award in 2017.
She has been working in Shenick Vets since qualifying in 2020
