Ian, who you will usually find in our Stamullen branch, has been involved with animals all his life. He has always had an interest in eye cases and has continued his studies and has an internationally recognised post graduate certificate in Ophthalmology. He is happy to see any referral or second opinions, and can offer a range of services to help your pet's eyes, such as treating non-healing (indolent) ulcers and many other eyelid, conjunctival and corneal surgeries.
Ian is also an approved regional assessor for the University of Cambridge and Kennel Club Brachycephalic Obstructive Airway Syndrome (BOAS) Respiratory Function Grading Scheme for Bulldogs, French Bulldogs and Pugs. Ian can also offer BAER hearing testing.
Ian grew up alongside a large kennel of dogs in North County Dublin. Surrounded by dogs, mainly Irish Wolfhounds and Miniature Dachshunds, as well as an assortment of hens, birds and snakes, it was natural that his interests would lead into a career helping animals.
